Act
of 1994 (CALEA)
In October 1994, Congress took action to protect public safety and national
security by enacting CALEA. The law defines the existing statutory obligation of
telecommunications carriers to assist law enforcement in executing electronic
surveillance pursuant to court order or other lawful authorization.
Raddcomm assists telecommunications carriers (whether new or established),
bridge the gap between law enforcement and network technology by working with
carriers to ensure their systems have the capacity and capability to comply with
all CALEA requirements. Raddcomm
will provide services to include but not limited to;

Develop
implementation and compliance plan, which outlines the procedures to become
CALEA compliant. |

Outline the costs to become CALEA compliant and FBI reimbursement
eligibilities. |

Provide
administration and coordination of the CALEA process and implementation. |

Advise
on capabilities of vendors to assist in becoming CALEA compliant.

Develop
a schedule that details each milestone needed to achieve CALEA compliance. |

Assist
with system implementation, integration and end to end testing with the FBI. |

Performs
audits to ensure all CALEA requirements, issued by both the FBI and FCC, are
being met |

Prepare
and file various FBI and FCC reports, including earnings monitoring reports,
cost allocation manuals and emergency operations plans. |
